Vietnam is home to 54 recognised ethnic groups. Their distinct languages, crafts and traditions make every journey a chance to listen and learn.

ROOTS & REMEMBRANCE
At Nghĩa Lĩnh mountain, communities honour the Hùng Kings, remembered in Vietnamese tradition as ancestral founders. The worship of the Hùng Kings in Phú Thọ was inscribed by UNESCO in 2012. It is a living expression of gratitude and shared origins.
For HUNG, the name is an invitation to remember where stories begin.

MOUNTAINS & LIVING CRAFT
Beneath the Hoàng Liên Sơn range, terraced valleys meet the living cultures of Hmong, Dao, Tày and other communities. Textiles, languages and everyday traditions tell different stories here. Their makers and keepers are at the heart of those stories.
Our early Sa Pa / Fansipan design begins a journey into the northern highlands.

THE FORMER IMPERIAL CAPITAL
On the Perfume River, Huế carries the legacy of the Nguyễn dynasty. Citadel courtyards, garden houses and the living tradition of Nhã nhạc court music offer ways to encounter a history that continues beyond its monuments.

RIVERS & MEETING PLACES
Across the Mekong Delta, river landscapes are home to diverse communities, including Kinh, Khmer, Hoa and Chăm. Khmer Buddhist traditions are one part of this rich cultural life. Every place has its own voices, memories and ways of welcoming a guest.
A reminder that Vietnam’s story is always told in many voices.

The HUNG emblem · Royal Marzipan
THE MEANING OF HUNG
HUNG begins with a simple wish: to make a gift from Vietnam that opens a conversation about Vietnam.
Our name takes inspiration from the Hùng Kings and the Vietnamese tradition of remembering one’s origins. HUNG is a new, independent confectionery brand; our story is just beginning.
A small stripe of colour recalls cờ ngũ sắc, traditional festival flags associated with the five elements. Red, blue, yellow and green accents sit alongside black and gold, giving a contemporary expression to that inspiration.
The almond-shaped lines of our emblem bring the ingredient and the idea of a royal gift together. “Royal Marzipan” expresses our creative direction, with care for the stories that inspired it.

OUR FUTURE CRAFT
Marzipan is an almond-and-sugar confection with a delicate texture and a long confectionery tradition. Our ambition is to give it a distinctive home in Vietnam.
We are preparing to establish production in Vietnam. Equipment, suppliers and final recipes are still being selected.
We plan to begin with the character and quality of the almonds.
A balance of almond flavour, sweetness and texture will guide our trials.
Packaging and storage will be developed for gifting and the conditions in Vietnam.
Our early designs explore a 70% almond recipe. This is a development target, not a confirmed product specification.
THE JOURNEY AHEAD
We are planning three ways to discover HUNG. Locations, dates and online ordering will be announced when confirmed.
A last taste of the journey. Gift collections are planned for airport retail.
Airport locations to be announcedA place to discover the collection and take time over a thoughtful gift.

Online orders are not open yetNot yet. HUNG is preparing for launch. The collections shown are concepts, and no orders or payments are being accepted.
Marzipan is an almond-and-sugar confection associated with a wider confectionery tradition. HUNG is a contemporary brand inspired by Vietnamese culture; we do not present marzipan as a historic Vietnamese recipe.
We plan to establish production in Vietnam. The facility, equipment and suppliers have not yet been finalised.
Our packaging takes creative inspiration from cờ ngũ sắc, traditional festival flags connected with the five elements. The HUNG palette reinterprets that inspiration; it is not a reconstruction of an ancient royal flag.
